The Factor SARANA is an ultra-distance gravel race bike, built for self-supported events spanning days rather than hours. Developed in collaboration with 2025 Unbound XL champion Rob Britton, it combines road-level efficiency with off-road resilience, engineered specifically for sustained high-speed riding across variable terrain and for stability and control late into a fatigued, multi-day effort.

Ready for the Roughest Ground

Massive 57mm (29 x 2.2-inch) tyre clearance means the SARANA can run anything from fast gravel slicks to aggressive off-road tread without compromise. The 30mm travel suspension fork option soaks up the worst of what rough, technical or washboard terrain throws at a rider late into a long day. A T47 Wide bottom bracket and a leaf-spring seat-stay system cut vibration by 18%, taking the edge off washboard and chatter over a full day in the saddle, while the 30.9mm dropper-compatible seatpost keeps descents controlled when the terrain turns technical.

Designed Around Real Racers

Every build pairs the frame with the Black Inc HB05 integrated barstem and Black Inc FORTY SIX wheelset (46mm depth, 27mm internal width) for a cockpit and wheel package built to hold pace for days, not hours. It's a bike built around the demands of ultra-distance racing: efficient enough to hold a fast average, resilient enough to still be doing so twenty hours in.
